Description
During this session, two members will present approaches toward examining program outcomes, developing effective research questions, and designing meaningful evaluations. The approaches will include: using administrative data sets to answer a research question; and testing a new model, strategy or intervention that leads to meaningful impacts. Cohort members will also work in small groups to develop program-related research questions in their state. Challenges and solutions related to designing and implementing evaluations will also be discussed. Lastly, cohort members will identify one or more research questions that can benefit from further study and action steps to support their evaluation plans.
