Looking for fresh ideas and support to design and implement an evaluation plan to inform your state’s workforce development policies, programs, and practices? The U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (ETA) is launching a new, interactive technical assistance (TA) opportunity for state workforce development professionals involved in conducting evaluation and applying evidence-based research.
The 2020 EvalPLC engages state teams possessing a range of research and evaluation experience and capacity in creating, testing, and exchanging promising evaluation practices with their peers. State teams will also be paired with TA coaches to support them in building capacity to conduct rigorous, relevant, independent, and transparent evaluations. The 2020 EvalPLC will meet approximately every four weeks from October 2020 through March 2021 via five virtual EvalPLC meetings and three public webinars.
